Lippert Stairs? Concern / replacements?

Longtime viewer, finally posting....

So I have a 2013 trailer that I purchased new which has 2 sets
of Lippert #1774401 stairs. These are 3 steps 9 inch step.

When we purchased it new that stairs were very hard to move. It
often took 2 of us to move them. Tried to get the dealer to fix them
but was pushed away with a basic statement that they would break in.

After trying all types of sprays, dry powders, etc. I have been unable
to them to move smoothly.

SO I am thinking a just buying new ones and started to search and
found the Lippert 1774401 (same stairs) I discovered this when I went
to the RV to measure them.

So my question is this a normal quailty of Lippert Stairs. Did I get 2 bad
sets, etc.....

If this is what to expect any suggestions on new ones with out spending $500 each?

Thanks

We also had the same issue with our Trailer which is 3 years old. We had
issues from day one and could not ever get a resolution from the dealer :(

We looking to either replace them with the same or different ones. I really
feel we got a bad batch (2) of stairs or Thor had them sitting out in some
factory yard during winter snow....
