Livin' Lite CampLite Prices

I'm in the market for a 15-20' camper around $15K. Something small and comfortable. CampLite 16DBS is one that hits the mark on everything but price: $23-$24K. That's way higher than other comparable brands. Anyone know why?

The way they're made is more expensive and supposedly much better. I started to buy one 6 years ago when I got into this insanity... err... pass time. I opted for something cheaper because I was thinking I might like something bigger. I was right. I'm now in my second (last) upgrade.

Did you look to see what comes standard?

https://www.livinlite.com/products/c.../features.html

These units are not entry level, although they are small.

Some standard features on Livin'Lites that many others don't offer at all, or offer only as upgrades:

6-Sided Aluminum Superstructure, nothing to rot, dual pane windows, solid surface countertops, Porcelain Foot-Flush Toilet, All-Aluminum Shower Surround, Composite Material throughout (water & mold resistant), 40 Aluminum Siding w/Full Body Automotive Paint, Slideout Topper Awning, Power Tongue Jack, Black Tank Flush.

I would assume that working with aluminum is harder than just screwing wood and metal together. Making a complete frame out of aluminum is a lot more expensive than the off the shelf Lippert junk thats in the majority of trailers made.
