Looking for input on Gulf Stream Envision

I have search many sites for info on the Envision travel trailer. I ordered a 290RL after looking hard at one on a dealer lot. Loved the floorplan and opposing slides. I cannot find anything good or bad about that line or that specific model. I would really like to know what to look for, over and above the normal checklist, on the final walk thru before paying. The dealer is 135 miles from the campground. I live 1400 miles away from the campground so making one trip to the dealer before delivery to the campground is important.

By the way, the dealers I priced said 4 months as the best guess for an ordered unit.

I bought a new Gulfstream Streamlite 22SLB in 2008. I used it for 5 years without any issues. It was not isulated very well but 2 subsequent RV's were not much better.

I watched a video on the Envision 290RL and also like the floorplan.

Is this your 1st travel trailer? If so, I think other manufacturers might be a little better trailer than Gulfstream.

I like the Flagstaff 29RSWS that has opposing slides and a small wardrobe slide. I do not want a king bed.

No, not our 1st trailer. Had a Wildwood 353FLFB destination trailer for our 14 week stay up north. We then tried a Coachman toy hauler for a couple years until Covid curtailed our major travel plans, so we sold it. Next up is the Envision.....
