Looking for intel on Heartland Sundance Trailer. Please and Thanks!

Hey folks,

We are looking to purchase a small couples camper in the coming months and after attending a number of RV shows, talking to owners and visiting dealers, we have narrowed our choices down to 3 trailers that check off most of the boxes.

One is the Heartland Sundance XLT 189MB. The problem is, there is little to no current information that I can find on this model or even much on Sundance trailers at all. The owners forum at Heartland is dead quiet and I looked here as well.

So does anyone own this model? If so what are your impressions? Is the floor plywood or luan?

I know all makes have issues but in general, how is Heartland quality and their track record with warranty service? Is the Sundance line lower tier in the Heartland line up?

My initial impression is the two Rockwoods we also like seemed to be better constructed but this one has a nice balance of quality and features that is appealing to us (plus it's cheaper lol)

Thanks in advance for any insights.

I can't comment on the Heartland Sundance XLT 189 MB (https://www.heartlandrvs.com/index.p...-tt&Itemid=664) but I can comment on a near identical travel trailer made by Prime Time Manufacturing --> the Tracer Breeze 19MRB (Tracer Breeze 19MRB Travel Trailers by Prime Time Manufacturing)

The 2011 Tracer Executive 30' bunk house travel trailer that I owned until two years ago was as well made as any other travel trailer I explored but more competitively priced. I had zero problems with my Tracer Executive and would expect the Tracer Breeze to also have zero problems.

I would still own the Tracer if not for the fact that my family, now with several grandchildren, out grew the Tracer and I needed to upgrade to a larger 40 foot motorhome to have more space.

If RV dealers near you carry the Tracer Breeze line, it may be worth your time looking at the Tracer Breeze 190 MB (it looks like "MB" is used by Tracer and Heartland to designate a "Murphy Bed"). Hope this info helps in your "shopping"!
