Looking to start the process and could use some help!

So my wife and I decided on the trailer we are going to go after. It's a 2018 Coachmen Catalina SBX 321BHDSCK. From what I've found, the sale price isn't horrible. Anyone have one of these models and if so, how does this price compare? What can I realistically expect to get off the sale price? Thanks.

Just go online and start shopping. We saved $4,000, traveled 250 miles, but worth it !!! Our unit listed at $30,000, got it for $19,700.

Why not just make an offer you think is fair and go from there?

Our unit listed at 34k and we paid 24k for it. However, those ‘list prices’ are usually inflated for this reason from what I hear. What I did find easy when negotiating was to get them to throw in freebies, for example, I got them to throw in a slide topper, weight distribution/sway hitch, and a handful of little gadgets. To me it was an extra $1,500 in savings, but it probably only cost them like $600, if that.

That's the idea I've been tossing around in my head. I've got the hitch that I'll be moving over to this trailer so I don't need that. I was thinking about trying to get them to include two TVs for it. I looked online and they're literally the cheapest priced all over the country on rv trader for that model. I guess the price is really as good as it looks. Doesn't mean I won't try and work them anyway [emoji38].

Nice trailer! I've been looking online and honestly haven't found a better price anywhere in the US. I figured I'd ask on here to see if anyone had any other insight. Thanks for your help. It's greatly appreciated!

The crazy part about buying ours was that both dealers were Camping Worlds, one was $4000 less than our local one ?????? Exact same year & model .

Lol really? [ moderator edit] I am not dealing with camping world at all. I've heard horror stories.

12-15% is very realistic. If the dealer doesn't go for it...........find a different dealer.
