Lost power cable!

Ok this must be the dumbest question but....

Does anyone else have an issue with the 30A power cable falling inside of the small hatch when putting in away? I have almost lost the cable twice as it nearly fell too far inside the internal storage area. If it does fall in how on earth do I get it back???

Just wrap some electrical tape around the end of the cord thick enough that it will not go through the hole

Where is your cable compartment located. In our last trailer, it was located right below an exterior storage compartment. I made the floor of the storage compartment removeable. In the end I converted to a detachable power cord which as a side benefit gave extra storage space.

A cable compartment box should be accessible anyway because the push in cords occasionally get snarled up inside the box and won`t pull out for anything...

There is no access hatch unless it is hidden behind the underbelly trim? I don't really want to pull that off unless I have to...and yes my cable has snagged on occasion too.
