microwave beeping

My microwave "beeps " randomly during the night, opened the door the first night to get it to stop, had to unplug it the second night to stop it!
Used it a couple of times otherwise and it worked fine.

Those problems are commonly called "electrical gremlins".

I have had one running around intermittently for the past 4 years. When turning on 1-2 specific 12 VDC light switches in either the bedroom or the bathroom, we will hear a relay click in the Intellitec EMS panel, then our Samsung Blu-Ray DVD system will automatically turn on and power up. Since it is directly connected to our Samsung TV using a HDMI cable, it will turn on also.

Doesn't happen all of the time when using the same switches.

Gremlins, that's all I can say!

Try replacing the microwave with a different brand.

It has always been a pet pieve of mine why they have to put BEEPERS on a microwave to begin with,do they think I cannot hear when the MICRO shuts off!!!!!!
Mine keeps beeping to remind you to open the door and take out what you had inside.

Mine did that once, the guy in the next site told me the next morning, always unplug the micro at night. It seems the power would flicker just enough to make it beep, never enough to reset the clock, etc.

Luckily I can sleep though a nuclear attack, the DW, not so much.......
