Need advice buying new bedsheets

I thought I'd get some bed sheets for my "new" camper but it seems I need some guidance, please.

The main bed's mattress is approx. 60 x 72.

However, standard mattresses are 54 x 75 (full) or 60 x 80 (queen).

What I want to buy is a waterproof mattress cover and a set of bed linens.

Do they make special "camper-sized" sets? Or do you just use what you got at home?

Thanks!

What you need are "Camper Queen" sized sheets. Normal queen sized sheets won't fit correctly. Well, the fitted one won't, but you can make the others work well enough. What I did in my RV is just change out the bed with a real queen sized bed since I was replacing the mattress anyway. It makes walking behind the bed a little harder, but I never go there so it doesn't matter to me.

As ItchyToe points out what you want are the "Camper Queen" size. A quick search on Amazon for that yields several items including this one which would seem to be what you are looking for:

Camper Queen Waterproof Mattress Protector

Target sells one of their brand sheets that has additional elastic on the sheet. It pretty much goes all the way around it. Worked for us.

Many RVs have "short queen" size beds which are the mattress dimensions stated in your original post. There are many "short queen" bedding sets available at several retailers. Amazon has a nice selection of "short queen" sets to consider --> https://www.amazon.com/s?k=rv+queen+...l_2nximhc5u0_e

Thanks, everyone! I will look for "Camper" and "Short" Queen.
