If you want to jack up at the leaf spring pack or near the leaf spring, remember if the tire is flat it will be a lot lower. In addition it needs to lift high enough to put a spare on.

With ramps it's a non issue.

An option to consider is a 2-stage hydraulic bottle jack. Not cheap, but they come on different sizes, and are low-profile when collapsed but jack up higher than a standard low-profile jack. My Sprinter came with one under the passenger floor, though I've never had cause to use it. I should probably test it, though, just to be sure it works before I actually need it.

You'd want a saddle if jacking under a round axle instead of the spring, though.
