New Casita owner, must have items to take with.

I think I saw a list of recommended things to have along; but can't find it now. What are the must have or recommended item for a new 17' Casita owner pulling with a Dodge van.

This is a very personal list, my advice is to go to a campground within 5 miles of a Wal-Mart for the weekend. Pack the things you think are essential, when you realize you are missing an essential item (can opener, flash light, screw driver, blanket, etc.) put it on the list, go to Wal-Mart buy it (Wal-Mart usually has a fairly well stocked RV aisle in the automotive department for RV specific stuff). Repeat.

Good Plan

I agree. Or, you could camp in your driveway, or in the Walmart parking lot for similar effects. (Ask at Walmart before camping there.)

I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead!

For starters, a surge protector from Progressive Industries, leveling blocks, and equipment to change a flat tire. Be sure to get rubber chocks, not plastic. There’s a lot more, of course.

I hope you enjoy your new Casita. Make sure you pack some smiles.

In the search panel at the top of the page search for - bought first TT today. This will take you to a Google link which you can click and come back to the forum. This particular thread had an OP that had just bought a small NOBO trailer in February and asked the same question. There are many posts with good information.
