Our new Heartland Eddie Bauer Signature 3311RL came with a backup camera installed, but the monitor wasn't included. Does it matter which monitor I buy?

It does matter, although I haven't a clue as to how figure out which one will work.

See if you can find the maker and model number from the camera. Post that and possibly a picture of the camera. Did you get a manual for it?

The new trailer dealer who sold the trailer to you may be able to explain or sell you a monitor.

Now, some of the camera installs can be connected to your tow vehicle camera's system. It depends on the vehicle. But as mentioned, you need to know what camera system was (could be) installed.

You may it cheaper to install a new system instead of just finding a monitor.

Thanks for the replies. I will report back on the make / model. After doing some research, I’m beginning to think it would be cheaper to buy a new camera and monitor, than to buy a proprietary monitor for it. I’ll report back.
