Your trailer is likely not 50 amp so no need for that service unless you plan on getting a big 5th wheel later. Your current trailer cannot use the extra power even if you add it. If your trailers power cord has 3 prongs it is 30 amp, 4 prongs and it is 50 amp. Google 30 amp shore power cord and take a look at the connectors to verify. If having an electrician install a power outlet be sure he knows it is an RV connector, not 220 like a oven or dryer takes. That would blow up your electrical system instantly.

If you have a 30 amp RV, converting it to 50 amp is a complete rewire and circuit breaker panel.
30 amp, 120 volt service, is just a bigger outlet then a normal one, you would see in a house.
50 amp service jumps up to 240 volts. That's over 3 times as much power as a 30 amp service. Like what powers your house's electric range.
That extra power needs to be distributed thru a 50 amp, 240 volt breaker panel, and heavier wiring.
You can run on a microwave on a 30 amp service as long as your not running to many electric heaters, the air conditioner and/or the water heater on electric.
You can run two big items but running the third may trip the 30 amp breaker.
30 amp 3 wire is 120 volts. 50 amp 4 wire is 240 volts exactly like a household range.
