Well first off it looks like you made a good decision on a tow vehicle and hitch. Both are more than sufficient for your trailer. That is where most people go wrong when starting . . . trying to tow too much with too little.
My first piece of advice is MAKE SURE your roof is checked
annually and resealed if necessary. A lot of people don't understand that or just don't do it. They are the rigs you see with delaminated sides. This also goes for anything else that enters a wall like an outside speaker or whatever. If you get water intrusion, that can get very expensive depending on where the water goes.
