Newbie Question

We just bought our first travel trailer and have taken it out once so far. We have a pass through compartment and when we got back home we were unable to open on one side due to items shifting inside and blocking the lock from being able to turn. My husband ended up crawling through from the other side to get it unblocked.

I figured we could just glue something around the lock to keep it from getting caught on anything, but didn't know if there was a device that we could get somewhere instead of hacking it. Any suggestions?

Most items in our passthrough are in large storage bins (one on each side). This keeps clutter down and I know which side to access when something is needed. Nothing is just crammed in against the doors, never had a problem with opening. Cheers!...

Welcome aboard!
Re your lock problem. The above is a good suggestion. And surely if nothing else you will find a better way to pack away the offending item. Lots to learn about RVs and the shifting cargo within.
