i have looked my trailer over and there is no awning or hardware for it. is it difficult to put an awning on?

Suggest doing an internet search on Installing an Awning on a Travel Trailer and find articles like this one https://www.etrailer.com/faq-install...m-scratch.aspx. Decide whether you want a manual (less complexity) or power (more complexity) awning and whether you want toDIY or have a professional install it. Good luck and post photos and awning details of your project.

Remember - if you YouTube they make it look easy compared to your reality. At least that is what happens to me.

It's not too difficult to put one on, it takes a little more work to do it right.

Do an internet search for Shademaker Awnings. They are an old company, and have a couple of models that would be simpler to add. Bag Awnings or Rope and Pole Awnings are probably simple enough for anyone somewhat mechanically inclined.
