Opening for the first time this year - slide stuck

We are opening our travel trailer for the first time this year and the bedroom slide is stuck - starts opening on one side then stops. I am guessing it is just sticky from not being used in a long while.

Any suggestions on how to unstick it?

Usually , sticking slide seals would tear , before they stopped the slide operation ; but ; you could try silicone spray all around the slide flange , get a can with the spray tube , so you get the spray as far behind the flange as possible.

Long term solution. Push it in and seal it outside. You will never have a problem again. My brothers Champagne edition 5th wheel has been in the shop 7 or 8 times for slide issues. He told me no problems this year and then reminded me that he hasn’t been out yet.

I've had this happen in freezing weather. If it's been a while since it's been opened the seals can be really sticky. I'd probably open it just to point where there was some tension trying to pull at seal. Then, go around from each side with a dull pry bar of some type (I'm thinking maybe a plastic plaster trowel?). Along with spraying my slide seals at least once a year I try to open/close the slides at least a couple times over the winter to keep them from sticking.
