Outside Receptacle
Our new TT space doesn't have a 110 receptical. Is it ok to plug our heated water hose into the outside TV receptical?

Is the tv receptacle 120 volt? You might want to figure out what circuit it is on, but otherwise the only problem I see is: What is a heated water hose? Edit: I just figured it out. Now the question is how many watts.
Also, I'd check that the outlet is GFCI protected, but I would assume it would be.

A heated water hose is, it has a heat strip down the intire length to keep it from freezing.

If your TT is plugged then the outside receptacle can be used by any 120V Appliance up to 15A draw
**Outside receptacle will be daisy chained with other outlets so that 15A applies to ALL items using that same circuit
Yes that Outside Outlet will be GFCI Protected

I would test it to be sure. You don't even need a tester--just trip the GFCI(s).

I figured that out when I did the edit, but what threw me off was the language of plugging the hose into an outlet.

2001 Edition of NFPA 70 551.41 (C) has required GFCI in Kitchen Sink Area, Bathroom Sink/Shower Area and Exterior Outlets on 15A/20A circuits
RIVA follows NFPA and RV MFGs must follow RIVA to have their Seal
Course once sold.....owners have a tendency to 'Modify' their RVs including deleting GFCIs (vs IDng actual source of 'tripping' issues)

That would be my concern, along with possible mis-wiring at the factory somehow. I've seen new houses mis-wired and pass inspection. Since the checking easy . . ..

I'm mostly worried about rain while it's plugged in. How weather tight are the outside receptcial?

They are only 'weather resistant' when cover is closed
Cover has to be opened in order to plug into receptacle
Plug in use it....
IF...IF it trips then you may have to cover with plastic etc
But don't go down the rabbit hole wondering 'What If'

Can't you plug it in at the campground power post ? Even if you need to use a heavy duty extension cord. There are weatherproof covers available for where you join the cords.

Excellent suggestion. That post is probably in closer proximity to the water line than the RV outlet. It is on mine.

Seriously, I seldom re-read an entire thread before responding to a new post.
But here's an alternative idea that borrows from the other idea, assuming this spot is used more than the current stay. If they're hooked to 50 amp and the pedestal also has a 30 amp outlet, a 30 to 15 dogbone. I have such a thing just so I can check continuity with my $5 tester rather than my $100+ device.
