Might have to make the door yourself or take that project to a local cabinet maker.
On the furnace, what make and model and what parts? For a control board, Dinosaur Electronics is a good bet.

I'm thinking a hollow core lauan door would not work so well to cut down as they are, well, hollow.
Perhaps an accordion type door would adapt?
Examples from Lowes:

All you have to do is cut the door to size, then rip a piece of 2x4 to correct width to fit in the hollow part of the door (it's easy to push over or tear out the cardboard honeycomb for an inch or 2), and just glue the solid piece in place in between the door skins. A little stain or paint, and you can't tell the difference. Put some masking tape over the cut lines to help avoid splintering the lauan.

In many cases, you might be better off with a curtain in the place of the bathroom door, certainly an accordion door would be good.
Curtain rail and slides and such can be found from JRProducts.com and Recmar.com.
My motorhome had a pocket door into the bathroom, I really liked that, but hinged swinging doors just get in the way.

For some parts you might have to go to a salvage yard like Colaw Salvage
