Rear living room - how to place chairs/rockers for travel?

Our new 2016 catalina 263rls suffered some damage during its maiden voyage from the dealership to our home due to the swivel rockers being improperly placed (by the salesman) for travel. When we opened the door after parking the camper in our yard the rockers ball bearings were falling out, one of the legs punched a hole in the wall and the floor was dented. We are working things out with the dealer but obviously we do not want to have this happen again. I emailed the manufacturer who has not responded yet, so I ask you all to let me know how you position your chairs/rockers before travel?

Hi Kgus - The recliners in the rear living area of my TT can be secured with tie down straps, which came with it from the factory.

Are there any small "D" rings secured to the floor near the wall where your chairs sit?

no there are no rings or anything at all to attach a strap or bungie. it would make sense for coachmen to put some in

Same here, ours are secured with tie down straps and we have small "D" rings attached to the floor. It seems odd to me that you wouldn't already have those in place. That's a bummer to bring home a brand new camper and have a hole in the wall. I hope you can get things worked out.

we have a Keystone 316RL, hace 2 swivel rockers in back, for travel

we put them facing each other, also have tie down straps.

Ours came with the standard one rocker and the optional second rocker. The factory provided tie down provisions for only one and there's really nowhere to put the second one when the slide is in. We secure one in place with the factory tie down provisions and upend the second one in the dinette with the cushion between it and the window after breaking down the table to make room for it. That's about all we could figure out to stow it without blocking the path in and out of the trailer when the slide is in.

I put one rocket in hall way. Tight fit, doesn't move.

I actually took out the anchors in mine the straps were just a pain I leave the door and move the other between the counter and other chair then the slide comes in Ive never had an issue with them moving and I throw my rig around like a rag doll
