Replacement AC unit
Just wondering if anyone has ever order a new AC unit? Trying to find reputable dealers online. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There are a lot of RV air conditioners for sale from a number of vendors. Amazon, PPL, Walmart, and Camping World along with a lot of other online vendors will ship the a/c you decide to order. However, I'd stick with brand names like Coleman and Dometic.

I've had good luck at https://www.makariosrv.com I get an advertisement about every other day from them online.
Many use ducted a/c units that require a separate head unit and a new wall thermostat is preferred. If I was ordering one for my living room, I'd be ordering a larger heat pump unit. If I was ordering one for my front bedroom (fifth wheel), I'd be ordering a low profile a/c unit.
On top of different brands and models, they also come in different colors.

Just put a new Atwood on our trailer. Ordered it from who ever had the best price and in stock as they come from Australia and didn't want to wait for ever. Any of the big name retailers will be safe to order from.

I bought a Coleman AC from an online dealer on the east coast (I'm PNW). It was a more powerful (1/3 hp motor), 15,000 model. It had FREE shipping and was something like $650. Way cheaper than our CW wanted. Arrived in a week and the hardest part of the install was getting it up on the roof.

I backed my truck up to the side of my trailer super close and put two planks across the bed. Standing on that my wife and I boosted it up to a sheet of plywood I laid on the roof of the trailer and slid it onto that. Not easy but got it done.
