Rockwood mini lite

I have a 2020 Rockwood 2511s that the cabinets in the slide out is pulling away from the ceiling. The slide out has the refrigerator and 2 recliners in it. The top of the frig cabinet is about 1/2 inch gap between ceiling and top of cabinet. I’m not sure what the problem is are where to start looking. Any help appreciated.

Take pictures inside the cabinet. A broad view followed by a detailed view of any fasteners and reinforcing blocks holding thing to the wall. Post in this thread.

Yes, pictures help. That is a new(ish) travel trailer. Rockwood is IMHO a very upscale rig. I am surprised and disappoint to hear of this issue. I like that model Rockwood.

Similar Gap

I have a 2016 Flagstaff 22FBRS. I had the same type of odd gap where my floor to ceiling cabinet (that has the TV set, stereo, and small bottom cabinet) was supposed to attach to the exterior wall. It was pulled out over time by pulling on the TV set to swivel it around.

In my case, the side of the cabinet was only "attached" by a thin bead of tan colored caulking. Luckily there is a 1x2 right behind it, so shoving it back into place, putting in 3 or 4 wood screws, then a strip of molding solved the problem......I hope. Try to see if yours has such a strip behind the gap and then get some wood screws. Good Luck to you.

While Rockwood and Flagstaff have some very nice designs, their carpentry and interior construction is terrible. I'm an OK carpenter so I can fix this kind of crap and have made many repairs

That knocks Rockwood/Flagstaff trailer down a few notches on my list. So what I am hearing is they are also a 'run of the mill' unit. Very very disappointing to me as I thought I had units to focus on.

You guys think it could be Covid era built units?

That is not good construction IMHO. Bad for the Rockwood/Flagstaff twin trailers.
