Roof adhesive recommendations

I'm in search of an adhesive that can re-adhere a small part of the TPO membrane (about 20 square inches) to my trailers roof decking. Looking for something that's available through amazon or locally at a big box retailer. I know Dicor sells a water based adhesive that only comes in a gallon. Looking for just a few ounces. I've read to avoid products with petroleum. Would a spray product like 3M 90 High strength spray adhesive work? Or can I use a general purpose contact cement? I've read that polyurethane-based adhesives are rubber roof friendly but not too sure.

Suggestions/recommendations are appreciated.

If it's a small area, try this. You can get this stuff just about anywhere. Just get on the google.

Will be using Eternabond over the original TPO. Want to apply an adhesive to the underside of the TPO first. The Eternabond will be rolled on after. Just need a TPO safe adhesive that I don't have to spend $60 on.

for best results, TPO is supposed to be heat welded with a high temp air gun. Even repairs.

You can watch TPO roof repair on YouTube to see how it is done. Of course on YouTube they make it look easy. And yes, they use a heat gun and a small 2" roller. They call it heat welding and they use 2 steps. Step one is a 'pre weld' and step 2 is the 'final weld'.

They show the 45 degree angle to hold the heat gun and the ease and method to use the roller. Not too hard, not to easy...just firm.

Good luck

First be sure which roof you have, TPO or EPDM. They are not the same and a majority of RVs use EPDM, not TPO. They require different adhesives.
