Yeah, I finished up applying Crazy Seal to my Georgie Boy a couple weeks ago, I went with Direct to Deck as my old EPDM/TPM, (I don't know which I had) was original 21 years old and cracked.

And as I removed all the old material I found a few damaged wood areas that I replaced.

It was a lot of work, but well worth the effort.

And I agree, the 55 year warranty is very nice.

I used RV Armor for our 2015 Four Winds 31L class c. It is very pricey, but it has a lifetime warranty. I had a leak that showed up around the front slide. The technician found some rotted wood and replaced it. He also put in a new skylight over the shower. I now do not have any leeks. He took 3 days to complete the job and it looks great. I have a fear of heights and did not want to try it myself. I am very pleased with the results.

I have used Home Depots "Henry's Dura-Brite White Elastomeric Roof Coating" for years. It works great and is less than 1/2 the cost of those that say "RV" on the label. One gallon or 5 gallons, but hauling that 5 gallon bucket up to the roof by rope is tough.

That's Henry's 587, correct?

That's a great price for the 4.75 gal at Home Depot, not much more than 1 gallon of Heng's.. both are Acrylic based.

I'd probably go with the .90 gallon though, easier to get up on the roof.

From several reviews, I guess you need to make sure it doesn't rain for 8+ days after application.

I see there is a past thread here discussing Henry's Tropi-Cool

Whose lifetime? How is the warranty honored when the shop folds before then?

Not trying to rain on your parade but what I've read is that most reseals need attention within a year or two, maybe even 5 yrs but a "lifetime" seams forever .

Manufacturer said no

Called on my 2017 Grand Design 5er to the roof coating manufacturer because I wanted to coat it white from the current coffee color. They said don’t just clean it once a year.

Well, I am satisfied with the job that was done and I do not have rotted wood and no leaks. That is all that matters to me.

You climb up to just look at the beads? J/K.

I need to reseal my trailer's roof but am undecided as to which brand to use.
I certainly don't want to have to "touch up" or reseal every year as some posters have stated.

No more 6 month maintenance cycles and adding Dicor. The only thing I do is clean the roof once per year.

No leaks to worry about. I do carry a roll of Eternabond Tape with me in case the roof or shower skylight gets damaged from a storm, tree branch, etc. Eternabond can give you a quick a permanent repair in an emergency depending on the damage.

Does Eternabond tape expire after being in storage? How long have you had your roll?

I have an 4" x 50' roll I purchased in July/August 2017.

I may want to use it for my front and rear seams (over the current/old Dicor) before coating this month?

same question as you, as I have a roll that is about 5 years old. However, perhaps it's not worth taking a chance on old product considering the importance of roof sealing......May have to bite the bullet and go for a new roll!

I would assume it should last more than 5 years unexposed to the weather and sun. Lasts longer than that when used on the roof.

I wonder if the manufacturer gas a guideline.
