If you still have the P-rated passenger car tires, it's a big part of your problem. Load range E will stop the squat and soft feel. By stiffening the suspension, you have actually put more stress on the tires.

If your front end is feeling soft im betting you do not have your weight distribution set properly and you don't have enough weight transferred to the front end. With that size of trailer your going to have to make sure you have things set up just right..
