Rubber vs. aluminum roof

My Fun Finder X-139 has a leaking roof which is being replaced. The repair guy suggested replacing it with an aluminum instead of rubber, which the trailer had originally.

Any thoughts on rubber vs. aluminum roofs? What are the pro/cons, etc... of aluminum roofs?

The aluminum won't be as likely to tare, but if yo live in an area with high air pollution, it can attach the aluminum and eat a pin-hole in it.

Big hail storm earlier this summer. My rubber roof came out ok. Their aluminum roof was destroyed. Don't know enough to say that it happens that way all the time. It's just the way our situation worked out.
