Please take the "no pressure washer" comments with a grain of salt. Yes, if you are 4 inches away from a window seam or other exterior wall break with a high pressure device of course you will be asking for trouble. But I am in a business where my coach gets washed every week or every other week and I have used a pressure washer carefully for years with no leaking issues. If pressure washers created problems there would be a lot of professional detailers going out of business due to lawsuits.

You just have to be smart about it. I also go back and final rinse using a mixed media filter tank for a spotless finish. Wax twice a year. People are always amazed at the age of my coaches. They look relatively new.

I use a Mothers lambswool mitt, Meguiars Wash and Wax soap and I built my own spot free rinse system for less than a $100. Depending on what I want to do I either use Meguiars Quik Wax or NuFinish Wax.

Wash your RV the same way you would your car. I’ve been using Rejex on my MH. I’ve used it on my airplane as well, with great results. Aerospace 303 on tires and seals.

I use a car wash soap - brand isn't important, and a brush I've had for 35 years that I used to use for washing windows. It called a Truck Brush and has soft, split tips nylon bristles. Use it with a extension pole. Here's an example:

I use:

A cotton mop on the roof with a mop bucket. I mop the roof just like you would a floor in your home. Sponge head mop to apply 303 to the rubber.

Shurhold brush with extendable handle for the sides. Any quality car wash soap is good for me. A large terry flat mop to apply 303 to the walls. Same mop dries windows first.

I do not use a pressure washer. And I actually have had a professional detailer pressure wash the clear coat off my J-wrap and the detailers at the Chevy dealer pressure washed large chunks of paint off my hood once and my roof about a year later. I’m done with them for washing cars or RVs.

I wax with Collonite products once a year. Fleetwax-but waxes are according to your preference.

I have an Unger multi-angle soft blue wash brush, that is threaded to take an extension handle or the Unger "locking" handle that doesn't unscrew so easily.

Brush

10 ft telescoping handle

A bucket large enough for the brush. A neighbor gave me a tall rectangular bucket cat litter came in and it works great. I simply use Dawn degt or you can use car wash degt.

Ultra wash

attached is what our dealer sells and recommends. We have a hard sided aluminum TT. Our dealer advised not to 'wax' but to use this instead.

I use a foam cannon, pressure washer and chemical guys soap. This process works very well and is easy too. I use this on everything I own. Watch some youtube vids on the process.

I pre-rinse and final rinse with a pressure washer. Have for over twenty years. Be smart with it. If it's soft enough to not hurt your skin, then it's not going to hurt your trailer.

Here's what typacly do
Pre-rinse with P.W.
Meguiars soap with 8 foot soft bristle brush and 5 gallon bucket.
hand scrub stubborn spots
Meguiars APC and wheel brightener on wheels, tires, and wheel wells
hand dry
Rainx windows
Clay bar sides if needed
Wax sides and decals with "Collinite's Insulator Wax" (includes a UV protectant)

I also use Collinite. Fleet wax on the front cap and the 845 wax on the rest, which I believe is the Insulator Wax you speak of. I have never treated the roof with anything, but I really need to get some 303 on it from what I understand.
