Really like our Lance 1995, and the raised slide out has its pros and cons. We love the large drawers under the dinette, and having them raised makes access so much easier. But also understand for you not being able to use the table for extra counter space. Maybe a telescoping mount if they make such a thing, so you can lower it for extra counter space and then raise back up for eating. We also line the back wall of the dinette with extra pillows, and can get quite comfy for several hours of card playing. Many Lance owners have a mod to fix the shower curtain issue. They have posted it on their owners forum.
All trailers have their good and bad points. Agree with those that say the most importance is to get out their and enjoy it.
