Septic Questions (poop emoji)

The exit pipe for the septic system on my TT leaks. I recently got a macerating pump to push black/grey water into my sewer at home instead of trying to find some place to dump.
In the process of doing it, this particular pump has the option for a freshwater rinse. The first few times, no problem. Last time I used it, the seals around the PVC leaked and squirted me in the face, :(.

Does any one have any ideas how I can seal the seams of the PVC pipes in place? They look like they were put in with silicone. I wanted to consult the collective before I went off and tried to use some epoxy. I'm sure they aren't pressure rated.

Thanks,
Mike

Sorry I didn't take any pictures, I was trying to get the water off of my face at the time. I also think a bear might have tried to get in the pipe as the cap was taken off on my property.

Need a picture to understand what seals are leaking. There shouldn't be any greater pressure on any of the RV seals with the macerating pump, but the seals and valves are prone to leak and need to be replaced occasionally.

I'm not understanding what pvc seals we're talking about here. Pvc piping should be glued with pvc cement, not silicone.

Yes,, pictures would be nice.

Some plumbing joints have loose seals. They can fall out when the device is disconnected. You may have lost a seal.

I said this wrong

I'm sorry, I'm not actually talking about any sort of seal. I am talking about the joints of the PVC that comes out of the bottom of the TT. I agree that they should be fused with PVC cement, but they are leaking. It also looks like the seal between the two pipe pieces is some kind of goo (like an RTV silicone) and not chemical welded.

I'm sorry that I cannot provide a picture because I am six hours away from the rig. I will update as soon as I get there again.

Sealing them in place most likely is not going to work especially if what you see is silicon and nothing will stick to silicon not even silicon. I'd say there was no problem until you pressurized the system as it's usually just a gravity flow non pressurized pipe and seals didn't matter much. Short of complete disassembly and using glue, if it's black pipe it's probably ABS, you might be able to boot it.
