Seems a common theme. One person handles the outside and the other handles the inside. Mrs Ldubs in the Officer-In-Charge of the level. After that she does the inside set-up. I know she sets up the dinette and puts things out. Not really sure of everything she does but it sure seems homey when I am given the green light to enter.

If I am there for a week stay, I have a week...to complete my set up.

Now the biggie is taking it all down. That I never rush and I use a check list, ALWAYS.

Typically I’ll do some breakdown the evening prior to departure just to speed things along in the morning.

Today in a boondocks site on very level ground we’ll spend 10 minutes to depart.

We’ve learned to keep things inside picked up and a near departure status most of the time. We’ve had to evucate in 10 minutes one day. Unexpected heavy seas on a shore line state park. I was hitching the 5th wheeler in 6” of ocean water covering the campground. Got out fine.

Very Wise Eddie.
I’ve had some embarrassing moments when distracted by conversation with neighbors. Geezers Like me, when yacking it up, can forget the regular sequence of hooking up. Am I the only one who, after, yuk yuk has removed chocks before dropping the coupler on the ball? OMG. Big Bang and Lots of unwanted attention.
