Leaving either black or gray open for very long, you may just get a bad odor, you do not have a trap. Dump when they are close to full, black then gray.

had to deal with blank tank build up as well. found the in tank flush system not cleaning it all out.go on line and watch clips on tornadoe and others and be amazed and you will only use 3 inch hose and camco wand thru top of toilet from then on.

There is just two of us. So for 5 days or less, I dont even hook up the sewer.
Then when time to leave, i put in the slides and move the coach so that the wetbay is right next to sewer connection. This lets me use my shortest hose. Easier to rinse and handle.

No real reason to leave a sewer hose exposed to UV and weedwackers
