shower question

I hope I can explain myself with this concern.

In our new trailer we have a shower pan with the "fake" tile wall panel that goes up about to the 5ft mark. But the shower head is about 8 inches higher. So when taking any shower you get water above the "fake" tile wall. I am concern of getting water behind that tile wall as it has a small gap between the wall and the plastic.

So besides putting a small bead of silicone caulk on the wall. Is there a marketed roll of this fake wall that can be installed to the top of the roof and overlap downward. This would cause water to roll down and then into the shower pan.

Thanks.

Strange that there is no screwed on metal trim with sealant behind it at the top edge , something left off at the factory.
If the shower can get water behind the shower surround, I'd be yelling at the dealer/factory , something is missing.

Yes I plan on talking with the dealer on this issue and about another 6 or 8 items.

There some screw covered with some buttons about ever 6 inches. There seems to be some sort of adhesive behind but not very good. But there no trim cover the top.

I want to be prepared for my options after talking with da dealer. I am very handy and often fix these things to make them better to prevent issues down the road. By then the dealer is long gone of helping us fix them unless we put out the cash. I have one more trip week after next and want to take that 2nd trip before it goes in for 2 longer 10 day trips.

That's pretty common. You can get them to do whatever you think is best. More shower wall pieces higher up that overlap the existing wall would work.

I talked with the dealer today and sent them pictures. They (service manager and team) we surprise to see the pictures. They have contacted
Thor and waiting for a response from them on how to resolve this issue. They were surprised the "fake" tile wall doesn't come up to the height of the
shower head. So I hope to hear from them on Thursday or Friday.

Thanks
