Slide Out Fix - Is this a permanent solution?

Brand new Keystone Passport 229RK. Slideout was scraping the floor. It had some exposed staples causing the damage. Not sure if it is actually off balance any.

For a short term fix I pressed the staples flat and put on sticky round felt pads in the three areas the staples were rubbing. All seems fine and I check periodically to be sure the pads are still in place.

Should I bother with getting the slide adjusted at the dealer or call it good?

I got mine 'tweaked' at the dealer for the same reason, as it was under warranty.
I didn't rush out and do it, however. I waited until camping season was over.

I placed an old scrap of linoleum to protect the floor, the slide didn't seem to care.

If yours is still under warranty, and you can stand to be without the trailer for a few days, I'd take it in.

You paid for the warranty and something is wrong. Since it is usable I would wait at least a few months and see if any other issues come up. Dealers are busy so putting into the Service department for multiple items makes more sense to me than visiting the dealer each time something comes up. In addition, I would take the TT back to the dealer prior to the warranty expiring; save up a few minor things.
