Slide out no power

I have a 2003 Holiday Rambler 36’ fifth wheel. The pass side living room slide out will not operate by the switch. I have tried another switch with no success. I have called Monaco customer service, but they cannot tell me where the control box for the motor is located. Does anyone on this site have any information that might help me ?? Thank You in advance !!!!

Time to break out the volt meter.
Start at the motor.
do you have power?
Then follow the wires to the switch and check point by point.
There will be a switch relay somewhere along the way

Could be nothing more than corrosion or a pinched wire.
Could be a fuse.

The older units owner's manuals are like unicorns.

Quick check. I tried a new switch too... didn't help.

There is probably a auto-reset breaker that will be near the battery that operates only the slide. Mine got hot and fried. It started out as an intermittent 'short', then quit completely.

Mine was under the trailer behind the plastic cardboard close to the battery. A hole was cut in it, and another piece was put over the hole as a hatch cover. I found it when I crawled under the trailer after using a drill to operate the slide.

On mine a wire runs directly from the battery to the breaker and is not a part of the rest of the electric system.
