Soft area on the floor

Hi, I am wondering if anyone here is familiar with the floor Constuction of the Puma series travel trailers? I have a 2014 that has a soft area by the door and would like to get a idea of how they assembled the rig.

Most RV's, there's a plywood subfloor on stringers. Layer of Styrofoam between the stringers. Both times I've done it, I was able to cut out the rotten parts and patch with plywood. Some rigs have a lot of support under there, others apparently don't and you may have to get creative in how you brace it up under there. I use a lot of epoxy and fiberglass mat. Among other things, epoxy will soak into, and harden any areas of soft wood you think might be salvageable.

Untreated plywood is spectacularly bad flooring material for an RV, ain't it. Yet here we are. Entryways, bathroom floors, wet bay floors ... who coulda imagined there would be moisture in those areas, go figure

After you,ve rolled the floor covering back cut out a small section in the middle of the soft area large enough to get a flashlight in and feel around to determine how to go forward. One thing you can do in lieu of rigidly affixed bracing and if the patch isn't over a few ft. sq. is make a bed for the replacement section by screwing 1x6's to the good flooring lay in the patch and screw the piece down.
