YUP - sure could ruin a person's day!

Looks like they tried to drop the trailer legs to disconnect the truck, and they buckled under...

The fiver brand name is 'telling us a story" as well.

As far as pulling the truck out, I make every attempt to find some way to unlatch it even if it ruined the bed sides and tailgate.

Yikes.... Maybe he had the fridge on gas to keep it cold and something went bad. There does seem to be fire damage visible on the upper fridge vent panel.

Is there any story posted anyplace about it?

Hmmm... Looks like a 3/4 ton towing that trip-axle fiver. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if it is a 3/4 ton, he's waaaay overloaded! Maybe the fire was a blessing in disguise.

It could have been a F350 SW?

Is there such thing as on board Fire systems for the Trailers? I'm thinking something similar to a 3 or 4 nozzle system you might find in a race car? It would be scary if people were inside.....

Yeah, I guess that's a possibility. But even if truck is a one ton SRW, I'd still have to say he's overloaded. While I don't know the specifics about the burning Inferno in the picture, I looked at their website for specifications of all the 2010 model offerings. One model had a 18,000 GVWR and all the others had a 19,000 GVWR; Pretty hefty for even a one ton dually. The UVW for these all varied from 13,060 to 14,260, depending on model.

Wish I had a upper fridge vent! It sure would have made changing the ice maker line a lot easier.
But it also looks like a great vent for the fire. Just can't win.

Just another reason we're switching to all electric .... In the past , I've seen several trailers burn to nothing because of propane issues ... Scary stuff , and trailers burn QUICK!!!!

The Brand Name "INFERNO" may be a Clue.. Though there is a trailer brand called Inferno.. Still.. I"m kind of wondering if that was a staged event.

In another event. I did pass a burned out on the freeway the other day.. Did not stop as well, he had all the help he needed (Police, Fire, Buddy) already on scene

The trailer had mostly smoke damage.. The tow vehicle (Pick up) however... Was TOAST!

Thankfully (for his budget) it was a TT not a 5er as the 5er, would have ignited if hooked up.
