Step Covers

Hello all, yesterday I installed step covers with the spring retainers on my outside manual fold steps on my new travel trailer. I was wondering how many of you have them and will they stay in place while driving down the highway????

Me too. I've had them on three RVs so far and they stay until you remove them.

new covers this week

those cheap covers wear out long before the springs, kind of funny about this Question that I was saying the same thing as I removed and wrapped the new ones.

Was always concerned they would cause premature rusting of the steps, any problems there ????

We have them on our rig they have been.on since 2008 we keep them swept off real good and one is just one beginning to show a bit of wear in the front of the step where it folds over, springs still good.
