Blocking under rear truck tire's for front to rear, and the trailer tire's for side to side.

We virtually never unhook our trailer from the truck when just doing one night. We find the most level spot we can; use Andersen Levelers for side to side and the electric tongue jack if we need to raise the front of the trailer a bit.

It's easy unless you have to lower the front of the TT to get level. I can get a little by removing the spring bars but not much.

My big question is where do you take your measurement, I have a decent bullseye level and get different readings if I use the bottom of the freezer vs the bottom of the fridge for a level surface (2014 Dometic)

One does not have to be overly picky about being level. If you are comfortable enough, it's OK for the RV.

Level the floor and you should be good to go.

We did a lot of one nighters during our Alaska trip. Being level was also important. Unless we were off by more than 2 lynx-levelers side to side we didn't bother.. Front to back, I had at least 3-5" I could get by just running up the tongue jack with it still connected to the truck. 90% of all the places we stopped in Canada and AK. the campgrounds were fairly level to start with. Now if your camping in the Midwest eastward, that is a whole different story. There are some campgrounds, especially state parks where you could be 12" - 18" off level.

If you're close for an overnight, you are going to be fine. If you pace a level in the center of your floor inside your main door and level, you are good.

When I do level off, I put the level on the floor of the freezer.

I do it. Side leveling as usual. Front to back within a inch or so with jack.

As long as my head isn't lower than my feet I don't worry about it.

I use the stove top.........hate when my eggs run to the back of the fry pan

RV absorption fridges operate on thermal-dynamics and gravity flow
IF RV is 'comfortable' to walk/sleep in then fridge is 'level'

Off level operation can disrupt the gravity flow which can cause overheating.
Overheating can cause the sodium chromate (anti-rust inhibitor) to crystallize
The crystals can then plate out on inside of cooling unit tubing causing obstructions
Obstructions cause more disruption of gravity flow---more overheating----more crystals formed---more plating out etc
This damage is ACCUMULATIVE and PERMANENT (Plated out crystals do not return to solution and are hard like slag)

20 minutes of off level operation can cause overheating/formation of crystals

Operation while in transit does NOT create this situation due to the rocking/bouncing while moving.
Stationary off level operation is the area of concern.
