My TT has an arched-truss roof and I'll store it outside this winter. My question is whether it is better to level it, or store it with the tongue jack extended.
Thanks,
George

We store our 5th wheel leveled. It also has an arched roof and I have never seen any reason to store it front high. The arched roof allows water run off.

Rick and Mark,
Thanks for your replies. I guess I'm going to lower the tongue jack and leave it level.

George on thing that you should look at before it gets to cold is the caulking around all the roof vents , my 2001 holiday needed a recoat on the lap sealant this year so if your spends any time out in the sun its poss due for a close look.

Mark,
Thanks for that tip. The plan is to get some white, paintable, sealer and go over what is already up there.

Before you do anything to your roof, visit both the Dicor and Bri-Tek websites. Both require special procedures and products. If you have an aluminum sheet roof covering, there are several off-the-shelf products that work well.

Ray,
My roof is definitely a rubber roof. I'm aware of the special cleaners that are required before applying sealers. Thanks for the reminder.

George:
Whether trussed roof or flat, I'd still tilt it slightly to allow the gutters to carry off as much water as they can to where you want it to drain when it hits the ground.

George, To avoid black streaks put some clothes pins on the gutter spouts - it wicks the water out beyond the trailer side.
