Progressive Industries hardwired to the TT. Hard to steal, can't forget to use it.

Don't get just a surge protector, get an EMS from Progressive Industries. It offers more protection that a surge protector.

This is the minimum I would get, but as per above, the hardwired would be better.

These cost more than the surge protectors, but are cheap insurance in the long run.

I use a Power Watchdog EPO from https://hughesautoformers.com/product/pwd30/ Already saved my electrical system. Hardwired in place. Would not be without one

I use the Hughes watchdog with EPO , In real time it has a cell phone app that connects to your cell via bluetooth and lets you know how much power your using . This can be very helpful for seasonal rentals where the power isn't include in your rent. Or if you useing a 30A feed and running multiple AC units and or hot water heater , toaster , coffee makers , microwaves. If there is any problems with park wiring it will turn off the power , low voltage it will turn off the power to protect your RV . They sell both a 30A and a 50A version.

Another vote for Progressive Industries EMS. Nothing wrong with using the portable model.

I wouldn't consider anything except the EMS series from Progressive Industries, either portable or hardwired. It protects you against any kind of AC problem, not just surges, and has a lifetime warranty!

Another vote for the Progressive EMS, I actually just finished installing one on the Coach about an hour ago, saved me a few times on the old rig from brownouts.

I have a new Imagine and went with the progressive ems. It works great and you don’t have to worry about it being stolen or left behind. Easy install and well worth it.

Same here and has worked great over the last year.

I have the watchdog as well. It works well for me. I like being able to look at my phone and see what various appliances are drawing. It has saved me a couple times now, both from low voltage. I needed a portable unit for now. May go with a hard wired unit in the future.
