Replaced it on two trailers. First time on a 2004 Starcraft Aruba 25. Changed it about a year after purchasing trailer new. Night and day difference! Smoothed everything out beautifully and it got well tested as we had to go on Long Island and NYC roads to get out of the area. The replacement was an Equa-Flex that was sold by TrailAir at the time. Fast forward to the current trailer (the trailer in between had torsion axles so no equalizer) and I changed over to the same brand which is now marketed by Lippert. Also went to wet bolts all around. No trips with it yet but soon. The ones on the old trailer were still doing well after nine years. Most important aspect is the measuring before ordering. Not all brands make all sizes. Get exact measurements and call each brand to see how close their units are. If you get the right sizes and right length shackles there will be no change in ride height or spring action. You need to know your axle ratings also.
Whatever you get, you will not want solid equalizers again. Also, don't forget to put in bronze bushings.

Recently installed Lippert Road Armors on my TT. Found a great price on an 'open box' from Amazon. Also installed wet boltswith bronze bushings. Only one trip so far, very happy with it. Looks like Amazon is currently sold out.

My wife even commented the trailer 'doesn't seem to be bouncing the truck as much as usual'... she had forgotten I installed the Road Armors and noticed the difference without asking.

Used:
Lippert Equa-Flex: couldn't tell a difference.
Dexter EZ-Flex: pretty good, noticeable improvement.
MorRyde SRE4000: combined with MorRyde pinbox, can't hardly tell the trailer is back there. Night and day difference. I'm sure that not only are we getting less chucking, but that the trailer is getting a much smoother ride. Used on the last 2 trailers. It does raise the trailer about 1.25" and needs 3" clearance above the tire before installation. Check out the video on MorRyde's web site. Can be ordered online at a discount and bolts right in.

All of these equalizers need to be ordered according to axle spacing!

I went with Road Armors and wet bolts as well. Really like them and they helped smooth things out. Adding shocks as we speak.

The Morryde CRE4000 has the most added travel of any of the products on the market. The dexter EZ gives you some isolation from front to back axle that I am not sure the other do. I had the Dexter in my Holiday Rambler it was noticable better . I would suggest adding a bolt on crossmember for any of the ones that drop the springs farther away from the frame . Morryde sells a cross member kit to solve this issue . By dropping the springs it puts more stress on the frame in tight corners that may cause the frame brackets to bend any break the wet bolts. The heavier the RV the more common the wet bolt break , I have had it happen back when I had springs in my Redwood.
