Temporary (weekly) storage for trailer while on the road

We are looking for search suggestions for temporary R-Pod trailer (20 foot) parking while we attend a wedding and visit with family in New Jersey. We only need about one week but all the storage places that turned up in a search want to charge by the month -- hundreds of dollars in most cases. When we were Thousand Trails members their properties typically had a short term storage location at a reasonable cost (typically less than $10 day).

Does anyone have any alternative suggestions that we can search for? Unfortunately the town we will be in does not allow overnight street parking, even if still attached to the tow vehicle.

Try a local towing company. Their lots are usually pretty secure and well watched. As long as you don't need overnight access it might work.

You mentioned a possible solution. Call some local RV parks and see if they have storage lots? These are usually reserved for residents or snow birds.

At this time of the year, they may be willing to make an exception.

No overnight access is needed and I would never have thought about a towing company! Will check those out!
