For you on-liners, try the discount code TRT30. 30% off up to a max of $50 in savings. Makes that $100 Group 29 deep cycle a lot better buy!

Why does the web site state CCA rather than Amp hours, Cold Cranking amps is used for starting and amp hours is used for a long discharge which is what we want to know..

yeah the 31 is a little bigger. It seemed like the best bang for the buck since I cant afford the golf cart batteries right now. Besides, its only a 20 foot trailer, the stock 24 probably was enough, but the 31 is just a bit more.
Of course when I got to the parts store they didn't have it and couldn't find it. Even though I have a receipt of purchase from on line. Just another thing to deal with.

If I cant get the 2 6 volts to fit, who do you recommend for a deep cycle 12v?

YES they are true deep cycle but ... The footprint is the same as a Group 24, they are taller though, and you need two so you would have to make some changes (change the battery box) for sure. They hold about 230 amp hours of which you can safely use half.. your current battery is about 75 amp hours of which you can safely use about 15-20 before heavy damage starts happening (Assumign it is a marine/deep cycle)

I wonder if my trailer's converter charger is distroying my battery by over charging it.

That depends on the converter. If you post the make and model we might be able to assist in that... NOTE: on many trailers the converter is part of the fuse/breaker panel.. IN these trailers the fuse panel and the breaker panel have a common door.. the make and model is normally on the inside of said door.

It's NOT a deep cycle...it is a dual purpose. One thing to keep in mind is NEVER go below 1/2 charge...12.2V... or 1.19 on your turkey baster hydrometer. (80 degrees F...up or down .oo4 for every 10 degrees)
Most batteries are killed by misuse...not by what type they are.

If you get a regular 12V battery (not deep cycle) from Costco they have a very generous no charge return policy. Worth looking in too !!
