Tire Minder TPMS...leave system in place after trip?

We installed a Tire Minder TPMS TRL-4 system on our Apex 288BHS. Wondering if I should take off sensors and signal booster after trips or leave it on. I can wire the signal booster to the battery cut off switch, but what about the tire sensors?

Also, the windshield unit has to come off as the thing goes crazy once we drive away from campsite so it will annoy us on the windshield between trips.

Thanks to all that reply.

I leave my sensors on all the time, as long as the system is off the sensors are not reporting and the batteries don’t run down.

So with my Chinese copy Ty-Mate sensors I just figured that it was safer off-trip to leave the Schrader valve to hold the pressure instead of the TyMate sensors

I just spent 10 months in one place and left the sensors connected but the control unit off. When I was ready to hit the road again I stopped at the local Les Schwab, they aired tires up to my requested settings (they had lost about 8 psi over the 10 months) and I changed the sensor batteries at the same time.

As for the control unit alerting when you drive away... turn off the power, end of problem.

Leave sensors in place and turn off the unit. No problems.

I leave mine in place all through the season. I take them off for winter storage because I feel I should. I probably could leave them on but for the few minutes it takes to remove them and re - install them I take them off.

If you remove the sensors from each wheel, and when you reinstall, the unit has to relearn the sensors.
I had the MorRyde IS system installed and when the tires were reinstalled the tires were place out of order. I had to make the system relearn which sensor was were in the system.

I only remove from coach when in winter storage. I have each cap labeled so they are installed back in same location. No relearning required.
On the toad I remove between trips.

I take mine off because you probably have to refill the tires anyway before your next trip. Also prevents theft.

The Tire Minder doesn't have to relearn unless you mix them up. I marked all of mine. That said, I just leave them on.
