I have confidence in load range E tires. Current trailer came with D's so I changed them out for E's before first trip.
I'll run this set 3 or 4 years unless one comes apart sooner.
Depends on quality (what level of tire you put on), use (do they sit uncovered, etc.), climate, etc. Most would never go past 7 years at the latest irregardless of any other factor. 5 years works for us.
