Same here. Been doing that for years - since the kids were little!

Never heard of "tank anxiety" before - must be a new symptom from the black (dark) tank conspiricy crowd. What kind of TP to use?? The world is in great shape if this is the level of concern we're having to deal with. If it feels good, by all means - USE IT!!

3rd generation TT folks here, none of us ever used RV tp nor have had any problems. Septic safe and conscientious amounts of tp along with reasonable amount of water has worked.
When DW uses a significant amount (her description) of tp for "serious business" she discards it using a doggie poop bag... They're cheap, scented and handy as we travel with two pups.

Test it!

Take a couple of pieces of what you’re considering using, put it in a jar of water, seal it and give it a good shake. If it’s compatible, it should have broken down pretty good.

Try the bidet:)

I’ve used Angel Soft for years without any problems. I recently installed a bidet in the RV and love it! We use a fraction of the toilet paper we did before and don’t notice any more water usage because we don’t need so much to wash down the toilet paper. Tanks come clean a lot quicker too.

the issue of TP

Forget the TP and go with a Bidet, you'll be glad you did.

And again, between camps on the road, in empty tank put some water and bag of ice in black tank. Let it clean the sides as you drive.

Which will do nothing more than melt and add a bit more water to the tank.

I used to use the expensive advertised brands until I saw the posts on this site a couple of years ago. We are now using Costco TP and never had a problem.
