Tongue mounted cargo carrier?

Has anyone used something like this - https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Cargo/St...on/CC-255.html

on the trailer tongue? I would really like to add 2 more batteries but do not have room behind the propane tanks and this would be a great addition.

I wonder if it would cause problems though adding another 180+ lbs (2 6v T105s and the weight of this carrier) to the tongue.

I upgraded my hitch to a 14k since I found now that I am loaded for full time my TW can go over 1100 lbs depending on tank fill so I should have the capacity in the hitch and could actually shift some interior wt to the rear since I am under the GVWR of the TT itself currently.

It should be fine as long as you donít overload the trailer, hitch, or tow vehicle.
My last trailer had lots of payload capacity, but almost almost all the storage was in the front pass through. The tongue would get really heavy if we didnít load stuff in the bunks and bathroom in the rear. It was always a balance game. Sometimes I would put in water(tank was over and rear of the rear axle) just to unload the hitch some.
