Anybody ever get the 25%-30% discount on a new trailer when trading in their current trailer. I realize they only give you wholesale for your trade, but why do RV dealers then want to only sell the new unit at MSRP instead of giving you the discounted price? Are RV dealers just that bad or what gives?
I can take my truck into a new truck dealer and get wholesale for it all the while still getting the big discounts that may be offered on the new truck.

Find a different dealer. You should be able to do the TT same as the truck. you might also try separating the two components. First negotiate a purchase price; then bring up the trade. Only move forward if you are satisfied with the whole package.
