Trailer badly oxidized...found the cure!

My 2018 Aerolite is badly oxidized and by accident or luck I found a cure.
I bought a bottle of Shine Armor at Walmart on sale just try it. I washed my trailer and then tried 2 test spots as I didnít feel like doing the whole thing not knowing if it would work or not. Iím blown away at how good and glossy the 2 spots look. They were done in May of 2020 and my trailer stays outside in Southwest Florida. Take a close look and you can see the difference. I did a square size area by the window, and a small spot on the lower front side area that stays in full sun everyday. Iíll be doing the whole trailer soon!

I get that result with 303 and a number of other protectants.

The problem I've found is you then need to re-apply every couple of weeks.

Reviews not that good. Lets us know how it holds up.

My personal experience with oxidation is ... it must be remove first before expecting the/any product to last.

I did both of those spots almost a year ago. They are still as glossy as the day I picked up the trailer. I’ll do the entire trailer and then repost.

That seems to be the rap on the product... doesn't last. That's what the majority of reviews on Amazon say say.

Could you let us know what Shine Armor product you used, the results look VERY promising. I googled Shine Armor and found several products. Thanks

its the 303 that doesn't last, the ceramic will last for years. the O/P seems to have had good luck with his, but if you polish the oxidation off and then do the ceramic it will be better.

I agree, because any oxidized surface is no longer part of the original material and the product will adhere to the oxidized portion... therefore it won't last.

That would be like painting rust

I used the fortify quick coat. Like I mentioned, when I first put it on, I wasn’t happy with it. After it set it then became glossy.
