Transporting kayak
I have my tv ram 3500 and my 34 trailer. Any suggestion on how to bring a couple of kayaks. My wife is not comfortable with inflatable.

Saw someone this weekend with a rack on his truck. The kayaks were over the cab. He was still able to tow his 5er.

This is how we transported our 10' kayaks when we had our FW. We went to an inflatable two passenger kayak when we had our MH. Now we are going back to a towable so will probably go with the rack on the truck again.

We haul 2 kayaks when pulling our TT. I installed an Adarac so we still can use the tonneau cover for the truck box. Loading on the rack can be a PITA if you are alone but not bad with two people.

Are you towing a TT or a 5th wheel? if a TT, a pair of standard roof racks on the cab will work just fine. If a 5th wheel, you can put a single roof rack on the rear of the cab, and then add a front hitch with a rack. I carry my 18' canoe that way.

Truck racks then. I have a Retrax tonneau cover and Tracrac racks with two Thule 883 kayak racks .

My solution. Tilts to easily load, rotates to either side to load when the TT is on. Only takes 6 square inches of bed space.

Definitely find a way to carry them on the truck. You will need the truck to get them to the water sooner or later anyway. We do carry a folding 3 step kitchen ladder to use for strapping them down. DH is 5'11" and I am 5'9", and we definitely can't get to the straps easily.
