Yes as others have said most leave it on. I have always left mine on in my trailer or motor home. I shut it off when I turn my refrigerator off.

The propane system is designed, built, tested and certified to be on while in motion.
My present motorhome doesn't have propane onboard due to changing to an induction cooktop. I changed because I like induction better, not forcany safety reasons.

I think the responses indicate that most RV'ers travel with the propane turned on. Hardly ever shut my Propane Tank down except where required: such as refuelling the Propane Tank or when required on ferries, tunnels. etc. While my fridge is 3-Way, I most often leave it on propane while travelling and sometimes we run the furnace just to keep the back end warm, but it most often the engine heat is sufficient. Been doing this as long as I have had an RV with Propane. My first Popup in 1961 did not have propane.

How about when you go thru a tunnel that says 'No Explosive Material' or I think I even see 'No Propane'? Again these signs are at the tunnel entrance. Not sure what you can do at that point?

Only place I turn tank valve off is in Norfork VA, where they have two tunnels that require it and watch you turn it off and the Chesapeake bridge tunnel. They ask nice but watch from afar.

Most certainly you can tow your TT with the propane on, I have never even considered turning off my propane except to exchange a bottle

We ran with the propane on for many years and never blew up anything. There are some tunnels and ferries that require the propane to be turned off.

I never travel with the gas on. First it is not needed. The fridge will stay cold for a days travel as long as you are opening and closing the door. Second it can be a fire hazard if you pull into a gas station to fill up and it kicks on. Open flame and possible gas fumes could ruin your day.
Some will say that is very unlikely but isn't once enough?
